We are New Horizon, We help disabled, hospitalized & homeless American Veterans in VA hospitals throughout the US. They fought for our country. They gave everything they had. They lost it all. Did you know that over 50% of our American veterans are struggling with mental illness, poverty and substance abuse?
This is not a future they could foresee for themselves or for their families…and yet, if they could turn back time, they would not change a thing. Because they knew that true freedom often comes with a high price. But to be forgotten is a pain that is very hard to bear.
This is why we wish to offer disabled, hospitalized or homeless veterans, found in VA hospitals nationwide a small token of our appreciation; something to let them know that their fight was not in vain. We give away free Care Bags, filled with daily items, such as shaving cream and razors, toothpaste, wet wipes and deodorants, socks, soap and more. We also include motivational and inspirational messages in each bag.
But in order to do this, we humbly ask for your help. Hopefully with your support, we will be able to reach even more veterans in need and show them that they will never be forgotten. Know that with every donation you make, you are helping us come closer to our goal and most importantly, you are becoming a part of a great cause.
